The conjunction of the Sun and Mercury in the Birth chart

Definition: If Mercury combines with the sun, the combination goes under the name of Budha-Aditya Yoga.

Results: Highly intelligent, skillful in all works, good reputation, personal respect, and surrounded by all comforts and happiness.

Remarks: Generally, any planet in association with the Sun becomes combust 0r (asth) and loses its power to do good. Perhaps Mercury is exceptional. It should not be taken for granted that irrespective of the distance between the Sun and Mercury.

Note: Best results of Budha Aditya yoga should be considered only when Mercury and the Sun are the owners of benefic houses (1st, 4th, 5th, 9th, 2nd, 11th, 10th). Mercury should not be the owner of the 8th & 12th houses.

• The two planets (lagnesh and karyesh) are in mutual

Let us understand these three conditions. Planets in order of their decreasing relative motion are Moon, Mercury, Venus, Sun, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Although Rahu and Ketu are not classically considered, yet the relative speed of Rahu and Ketu would lie in between Jupiter and Saturn.
