To calculate the Yogini Dasha period, the first step is to determine the Nakshatra occupied by the Moon at the time of birth. The Nakshatra is then used to calculate the first Yogini period. For example, if the Moon is in Ashwini Nakshatra, the first Yogini period will be ruled by Mangala, and the person will experience the effects of Mangala Dasha for the first three years of their life.

Each Yogini period has its own unique qualities and effects on a person’s life, based on the planetary ruler of the Yogini, the Nakshatra occupied by the Moon, and the placement of other planets in the birth chart. For example, the first period ruled by Mangala is said to bring energy, enthusiasm, and new beginnings, while the period ruled by Siddha is associated with spiritual growth and enlightenment.

How to see the Disease and Recovery of Patient from which house?

In the prashna kundali the ascendant is the Doctor, 4th house is the treatment, 7th house is the disease and 10th house is the patient. Hence the four kendras assume importance in this analysis. Ascendant not only means the Doctor but every thing connected with him, his ability, diagnosis, understanding etc. Similarly the remaining kendras, in order, are to be seen for treatment, disease, and the patient respectively. Treatment includes the medicine, the disease includes the acute or chronic stages, whether the disease is complicated, the possibility of its cure, and finally the patient includes his cooperation or willingness in taking medicines and precautions. I have observed that 10H indicates the behavior and willpower of the patient more than the patient himself. This single factor can make a lot of difference in the ultimate outcome of a disease and its cure.

Parts of the Body
Two methods are employed in the identification of the part of the body said to have the seat of the disease. The first method of dreshkon is applied to natal predictive astrology as well as prashna. Whereas the second method is applied solely to prashna. Both have immense merit and therefore both need to be understood in detail.

Based on the twelve houses
The twelve houses of the horoscope indicate different parts of the body. To ascertain which part is diseased, note :
1. The influence of malefic on any house by position, aspect or conjunction (PAC).
2. The influence of malefic on the lord of the house by PAC, as above.
3. The part of the body touched by the person while posing the query.
4. The Arudha Lagna is fixed by any of the methods explained earlier.
5. The house where the afflicted Lagna lord is posited.
6. The house where the afflicted Moon is posited.
7. The house where 6L (under the malefic influence) is posited.

These houses indicate the seat of the disease and a thorough and judicious application of mind is required, giving due importance to each of these indications. The parts of the body which may be diseased as per this method are :
