Yogini is the Dasha that we can use for timing and event in Kalyug, which was explained by Lord Shiva to Maa Parvati

Yogini Dasha in astrology is one of the several systems of planetary periods used in Vedic astrology. It is a unique and ancient system that was used by the sages in ancient India to time the events of a person’s life. It is a lunar-based system that calculates the planetary periods based on the Nakshatra (lunar mansion) occupied by the Moon at the time of a person’s birth.

In Yogini Dasha, the seven planets (Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, and Saturn) are assigned to a group of eight Yoginis. The Yoginis are a group of goddesses associated with the moon, and each Yogini is assigned a specific duration of time. The Yogini Dasha periods are assigned in a specific order, and each period is ruled by a particular Yogini.

The Yogini Dasha periods last for a total of 36 years and are divided into eight periods. Each period lasts for a certain number of years, depending on the order of the Yoginis. The first period is ruled by the first Yogini, and the second period is ruled by the second Yogini, and so on.

The order of the Yoginis in Yogini Dasha is as below:

Mangala, Pingala, Dhanya, Bhramari, Bhadrika, Ulka, Siddha, and Sankata. Each Yogini rules a specific number of years, starting with Mangala, who rules for three years, and ending with Sankata, who rules for six years.

To calculate the Yogini Dasha period, the first step is to determine the Nakshatra occupied by the Moon at the time of birth. The Nakshatra is then used to calculate the first Yogini period. For example, if the Moon is in Ashwini Nakshatra, the first Yogini period will be ruled by Mangala, and the person will experience the effects of Mangala Dasha for the first three years of their life.

Each Yogini period has its own unique qualities and effects on a person’s life, based on the planetary ruler of the Yogini, the Nakshatra occupied by the Moon, and the placement of other planets in the birth chart. For example, the first period ruled by Mangala is said to bring energy, enthusiasm, and new beginnings, while the period ruled by Siddha is associated with spiritual growth and enlightenment.

In summary, Yogini Dasha is an ancient system of planetary periods in Vedic astrology, based on the Nakshatra occupied by the Moon at the time of birth. The system is unique in that it is lunar-based and assigns the planets to a group of eight Yoginis, each ruling a specific period of time. The Yogini periods have their own unique qualities and effects on a person’s life, based on the planetary ruler of the Yogini, the Nakshatra occupied by the Moon, and the placement of other planets in the birth chart.

After Vimshottari dasha, Yogini is the best Dasha Method, it is of the dasha which we can use for timing Events in Kalyug which was explained by Lord Shiva to Maa Parvati. This Dasha starts from Moon Nakshatra.

There is a mention of 64 Yoginis in Tantra Shastra. Of these, special importance has been given in the Tantra Shastra to the major Ashta Yoginis, who are worshiped along with the Ashta Bhairvas. Just as there is a Vimshottari Dasha Dasha of 120 years, similarly the Yogini Dasha of 36 years has evolved in recent times,

Like Vimshottari Dasha, Yogini Dasha also affects the life of a person in a big way. Ashta Yogini Dasha 1s also divided on the basis of 27 Nakshatras which provide happiness and sorrow to the native according to his deeds during his time period.
