First, Look at your ascendant and ascendant Lord, Wherever the ascendant Lord is sitted in your Lagna chart, travel same distance and you will get your Arudh lagna for your lagna chart
Example:
Let’s say you’re born with a Taurus ascendant, and Venus, the ruler of Taurus, is placed in the 5th house in Virgo. Here’s how you find your Arudha Lagna:
Start with your ascendant, which is Taurus in this case. Then, look at where Venus is sitting in your chart, which is the 5th house in Virgo.
Now, count 5 houses from the 5th house where Venus is placed. This takes you to the 9th house.
So, your Arudha Lagna is the 9th house. Easy, right?
